Fulcoaldo, Foucaud, Fulgualdo o Fulqualdus es a veces llamado el conde de Rouergue y fundador de esa dinastía de condes que gobernaron en Tolosa y a menudo por toda Gothia durante los siguientes cuatro siglos. Fulcoaldo se casó con Senegunda (o Senegundia, en francés Sénégonde), cuya familia no consta, aunque en algunas páginas web, sin fuente alguna, se dice que es hija de Alda ("de Gellone"). Tuvieron dos hijos: Fredo y Raimundo.

Fulcoald, Foucaud, Fulguald or Fulqualdus is sometimes called the Count of Rouergue and founder of that dynasty of counts which ruled Toulouse and often all of Gothia for the next four centuries. In 837, he was appointed missus dominicus along with Ragambald in the pago Rutenico seu Nemausense: country of Rouergue and Nîmes (probably Septimania).
Fulcoald married Senegunda (or Senegundia, French Sénégonde), whose family is not recorded, although some web sites, without source, name her as a daughter of Alda ("of Gellone"). By her he had two sons: Fredelon and Raymond.

Comte Foucaud & his wife had two children: Fredelon ([815]-[849/52]), governor of Toulouse, and Raymond ([815/20]-before 17 Apr 865), who was named Comte de Rouergue et Comte de Quercy in 849 by Charles le Chauve King of France, and who succeeded in 855 as RAYMOND I Comte et Marquis de Toulouse.
